Please keep my mother, Sue Icenhower, in your prayers this coming week. She is having open-heart surgery on Monday.

My mother-in-law had a stroke (probably several) on March 19th and she is still in a coma. Dr. says she has a 1% chance of recovery whick obviously has the family very upset. My husband has not come to church because he is very upset and doesn't understand why it happened. Please pray that she will wake up. Second, Lauren is going through something right now and I'm not sure what it is but please pray that she gets back on track. Lastly, let's pray that Bruce and his family will be happy with the choice to leave this church and that we continue to grow and learn God's will. I would like to rejoice in the fact that Brock is back at home, working full-time and doing well.

Lisa's mom was involved in a head on collision yesterday afternoon. She was airlifted to PG Hospital. She suffered a great deal of trauma to her chest area. Both of her lungs collapsed and her blood pressure became dangerously low. There was also concern that she had internal bleeding and a possible perforated bowel, so late last night they flew her to Baltimore's shock trauma unit and performed exploratory surgery, where she is now. Thankfully there was no internal bleeding. At this time she is in critical condition. She is still breathing with the help of respiratory support machines. Also, she is on constant blood pressure medication simply to keep her circulatory system working. Even with the medication her blood pressure is still extremely low. The next 24 to 48 hours are extremely critical. The doctors feel that during this time she will either start to improve or will decline. She also suffered a broken hip and some other minor fractures. If she survives everything else she will need hip surgery. Lisa asks that you please don't call her right now. If you'd like to express concern she'd love to hear from you via email. In the meantime please pray for her mom's recovery. Also keep Lisa and her brother Wayne in your prayers -pray especially for God's guidance for them as they are asked to make decisions regarding her mother's care.

My mother has been in an intensive care facility due to a stroke she had in 1996. Two nights ago (3/9/2005), she started to have seizures. Valium helped get rid of them, but when my dad, who lives in the same facility under normal senior conditions, visited her, there was a doctor and a priest (They're Polish Catholics) in her room. My dad said it's serius but I really don't know the details. Pray that her health would inprove but most importantly that God would send her His light and open her heart to submit to the authority of Jesus.. Also for my dad and the rest of the family to know Christ.

*Please pray god might reach down into my ordinary life and use me for great purposes. Turn around the brokeness( addictions, joblessness, depression,) in my life and make me what you desire. I SURRENDER.... please pray for my brother whos on missions in china, whom I dearly miss. pray for purpose/wisdom in all the hearts of younger adults/children. I pray especially for all the lost, hurting, confused, sick, emprisoned either mentally or physically that god would send angels of blessings into there lives so they can see the HOPE of christmas. **Pray that seneca creek attendees would be filled with the love and joy of the season these christmas eve services and that our giving would exceed earthly measures and that we would do it cheeerfully.

Hi, our son Brock is very lost making bad choices and doing and saying odd things. Please pray that he gets back on track, gets his self esteem back and begins working and doing what he is supposed to do so that he can come back to us. Thank you.

We got into an accident back in march and our only vehicle was totaled. We got a check for our loss from the insurance company, but we cant afford a monthly car note so we decided to go to the PA auction. God actually blessed us with a car and a van! which works wonders b/c if any of you share a vehicle in the family you would know how hard it is to do so. allthough we still need to get them fixed to pass MD inspection, please pray that God will guide us through this and that both vehicles will pass the inspection with little or no fixing needed.



My aunt fell and broke her hip Posted 03/18 by Ginny McDonald

Please pray for my Aunt Charlotte who fell yesterday and broke her hip. The doctors say it is broken in many places. My aunt is almost 70. she lives in Tennessee with the rest of my family. My Mother will be the main one to take care of her, and she recently had an episode of extremely high blood pressure that landed her in the ER. Thank you. Ginny

I have just started my own business selling candles and acessories for a wonderful company called PartyLite. Please guide me thru this and give me the strength I need to accomplish my goals to suceed in the business, b/c my family really needs the extra money right now, and I have finally found something to do in my carrer field that I love...candles!

Thank you God for all the wonderful pastors we have here at SCCC. We pray for each one of them that you would continue to renew their spirits and energy. We pray that their passion for you and for your children would remain strong. We know that you lay out the plans for each of our lives - and we thank you again and again that your plans for them have included ministering to us!

Pray that God would bless us with over 1400 people on Friend's Day. That God would cause our people to invite their friends and neighbors and that they would come. Pray that God would use our mailers to call a number of people to Seneca Creek. And pray that we'd see a number of people come to Christ in October because of our Friend's Day series.
