I Love Kids!! My true passion and calling is influencing my 4 boys and every other kid I meet with the hope of Jesus. There's nothing more rewarding to me than making a positive impact in the life of a child and next to that, I absolutely have a heart to serve along side and encourage others who share that same passion.

As a kid, I had the neat opportunity to live in several states up and down the Eastern U.S. as my family and I followed my dad throughout is Naval career. Born in Jacksonville, FL, later moving to a small town just north of Mobile, AL until 6th grade. Then we headed north to Allentown, Pennsylvania where I lived until graduating high school.

Then I decided to sail the seven seas and joined the Navy. (OK, I really didn't sail the seven seas but I did spend some time on the USS Tarawa) I served 10 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman caring for patients and later with advanced training worked in laboratory medicine. Cool Stuff!

The best part about my naval career was meeting my beautiful wife Trena almost 20 years ago. We have 4 very active boys-Bobby (19), TJ (13-awesome lacrosse player), Blake (8-knows everything about Star Wars-just ask him and you'll know what I mean), Tristan (5 - better at video games than me), and I can't forget the most important person in the house, Rosalina (aka Grandma).

I have a Bachelors degree in Human Service Management from the University of Phoenix. And in 2001 found myself being called to ministry very similar to how Jesus called His own disciples; kind of like,
"I know you've been doing this Navy thing for 10 years and that's all you know...well now you get to serve in ministry with me." Funny how God works!! What a great journey it has been leading our children's ministry.
